LET’S MAKE IT

  • Heat oven to 350°F. 
  • Microwave cream cheese in medium microwaveable bowl on HIGH 15 to 20 sec. or until softened; whisk until creamy. Gradually stir in milk, then eggs.  
  • Cut sausage lengthwise into quarters, then crosswise into thin slices.  Place 1 waffle piece in each of 12 muffin pan cups sprayed with cooking spray; cover with sausage, 1 cheddar piece and remaining waffles.  Top with egg mixture, adding about 2 Tbsp. to each filled cup.  Let stand 5 min. or until egg mixture is absorbed. 
  • Bake 13 min.; remove pan from oven and top with remaining cheese. Return pan to oven; bake 5 min. or until knife inserted in centers comes out clean. 
Special Extra  Garnish with sliced green onion.
